The numbers you enter

All calculators run entirely in your browser. The salary, pension and tax figures you type are not sent to our servers or stored by us. To make results shareable, the numbers appear in the page address (for example ?basic=56100); anyone you send that link to will see them.

Analytics

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits. It does not use cookies, does not track you across sites and does not collect personal data; it records the page visited, the referring site, the country and the type of browser.

Advertising and cookies

We show ads served by Google AdSense. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your previous visits to this website and other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies lets it and its partners serve ads to you based on your visits to this site and other sites on the internet.

You can turn off personalised advertising at Google Ad Settings, or turn off other vendors' cookies for personalised advertising at aboutads.info. Visitors from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland are asked for consent before personalised ads are shown.

Server logs

Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, keeps short-term technical logs (IP address, time, address requested) to protect the site from abuse.

Children

The site is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their information.

Your rights

Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you can ask what personal data we hold about you and ask us to correct or erase it. Since we do not collect personal data through the calculators, there is usually nothing to return.

Changes

We will post any change to this policy on this page with a new effective date.
